Kim, most mainstream music from the 90s was pretty bad. The good stuff was
mostly alternative or underground. But when you think about it, during the mid
70s. popular music was pretty bad too. Disco was ruling the airwaves. If you
wanted to hear good music, you had to turn to the alternative stations of the
time. The 60s was really the last era where popular music was really great and
the alternative stuff was pretty bad.

I mostly agree.
But, I think "the day the music died"
was in the summer of '75.
That's when I first heard "The Hustle" the beginning of the disco era.

the 90s were one of the highlights of british music - brit pop

my second favourite band ever oasis, bands like suede and blur

golden days

my father gave me his epiphone casino frpm the 60s when i could passably play champagne supernova

unashamedly paying homage to those 60s icons,, touch of beatles, kinks, small faces

a great band, assasinated by the press

the las, grossly under rated and under stated

great sound, lots of 60s there
