I am looking forward for the upcoming movie of the two famous superheroes that I adore when I was a kid and until now. Anyway, the video is entertaining to watch!

What you've essentially done here, Rob, is force Ron Rule and Claude to a battle to the death.

Now, personally, I like them both and don't want to see either harmed.
    - But - I also like popcorn and I like events to which popcorn is conducive.
Thus, I say, "Let The Bloodshed Begin!"

    Now, where's the corn?

Maybe we should set up a bet on which one is going to win?

Have seen both the movies and I would say that both of them are taken out of their comfort zone.

Dear Dan; (Yes, this is a "Dear Dan" letter)

I'm both a Superman and Batman fan. In the movie, it's nearly required that Batman gets the better of Superman.

If Goliath killed David, what kind of a story would that be?

So Ron Rule and I can now have a contest to see who can say Batman should win...the loudest.

But Ron is above such things....because he's Batman!

And Superman may have godlike powers...but he spends his nights...wishing he was Batman!

There may only be one Superman....but there is only one Batman!

And let's be clear. The answer to every question in the universe can be summed up as ..."Because I'm Batman!"

Superman can kill you (Heck, he killed the whole city of Metropolis), but Batman can make you wish you were dead.....Because he's Batman!

I hope you enjoyed that as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Yes, but they both aspire to be Wolverine.

Wolverine? He aspires to be Spidey.

I think these HISHE (How It Should Have Ended) videos are brilliant.

There are sooo many ways this movie could go. But the Superman movie showed that you can actually have a Superman that doesn't act like a cartoon.

I think the more interesting result is if Batman beats Superman, because it is so obvious that Superman (if any of this were real) could kill an army if he really wanted to.

So Batman pretty much has to beat Superman to have the tension and drama.
But they can't fight through the whole movie, because they are both really on the same side.

Luthor. They need a great Luthor. My vote is Mark Strong. Nobody can play a villain like him.

The Batman movies were inspiring (especially The Dark Knight), and Man of Steel had multiple Epic moments.

      I can't wait.

Unfamiliar with the DC universe, I had to Wiki Lobo,

Lobo is a Czarnian with exceptional strength and fortitude. (The Omega Man series, in which Lobo originally appeared, identified him as a Velorpian.) He enjoys nothing better than mindless violence and intoxication, and killing is an end in itself; his name roughly translates as "he who devours your entrails and thoroughly enjoys it." He is arrogant and self-centered, focusing almost solely on his own pleasures.

I had a feeling. I'm pretty sure I've seen pics of him playing guitar, too (although, maybe you were frontman?).

I'm not a DC guy myself, but I remember Lobo being very Marvel-esque.

Christopher Reeves is the iconic Superman. But after him...It is always a dude with fancy hair wearing a pant over stockings that come to mind. Dark Knight is the man hands down.

You have not seen the new Man of Steel, I presume.

It was the absolute best presentation of the Superman story, not some campy character flawed rehash like the previous movies.

Christopher Nolan saved the franchise, just as he did for Batman.

First, Big Rob......You are a real fan, and I like your way of thinking.

          Now, in my humble opinion.

I think Superman Returns was a little better than the first Superman movie starring Christopher Reeves. At the time, I loved it. But I recently watched Superman, Superman Returns, and Man Of Steel in the same weekend.

Superman Returns was an extension of Superman 2. But it had far better special effects. It was still a comic book movie. It was still a fantasy movie.

Man Of Steel was Science Fiction. I swear, every 15 minutes there was 5-8 minutes of epic action that 10 years ago, would have been enough to make this movie the next Star Wars.

I can only think of two scenes that were less than Amazing. I swear, It was like the movie just washed over me with it's regal amazingness. (OK, maybe a little over the top, but I'm a real fan)

And if Henry Cavill was the star of Superman Returns...it still wouldn't have been as good as Man Of Steel. And if Brandon Routh was in Man Of Steel it still would have been amazing.

The Director and producer (along with writers, etc) made all the difference.

Can't wait for the next one.

Christopher Nolan's "Batman" doesn't exist in the same universe as superman - actually, Nolan literally said that his Batman doesn't exist in a universe with any "super heroes."

Nolan's Batman is based on realism, there's no way he can exist in the same universe as a Kryptonian Alien that can lift 200 quintillion tons or an Amazonian Princess that deflects bullets with her wrists.

The Batman, the one from the comics, is a brilliant tactician and his mind is his most lethal weapon. This doesn't mean he's weak though, he's spent millions on refining his body to be at its peak physical condition - he benches 1k and can hold up in combat against almost any enemy (or ally).

He's also a crazy paranoid dude that doesn't trust ANYONE. He has contingency plans to disable/kill every single member of his Justice League - and he's actually taken down the league with his plans.

And if you've ever read or watched any of the Justice League stuff, Batman ALWAYS saves the day. Take for example the newest Justice League movie, The Flashpoint Paradox where the main character isn't even Batman and he still saves the day.

    Batman is a BAMF.

I hope the Superman/Batman movie will be good

I think that's one reason they need a new actor for Batman.

Plus, The Dark Knight Rises movie pretty much retired that Batman.

Plus, the Nolan Batman isn't the same Batman as the comics. The Batman in the comics is smarter and more like a Superhero.

Batman is always the most dangerous man in the room. Even when Superman is in the room. But not the Nolan Batman. And Batman could live in the Man Of Steel world, just not the Christian Bale Batman.

So for this to be more plausible, Batman would have to be more like the Justice League Batman.

        Hahaha i know right

I'm not a big fan of Nolan's Batman (mainly because I can't take his voice srsly). I am a fan of Nolan's villains though - The Joker, Bane, Two-Face... etc

But I'm a huge geek when it comes to the Justice League - especially the 'real' Batman
