      The difference is 2D is watching the tv or cinema screen, and 3D creates the illusion of depth, or gives you a headache, and makes you want to ditch the glasses and wonder why you wasted good money seeing a great movie in this dumb mess!

      I have seen two 3D movies, the first, was a test, and l regretted it, the second, l had no choice, and vowed to never again subject myself to the dogs breakfast format!

      To put it mildly!!!!

        I watched the latest Star Trek movie in both formats, about a week apart. The 3D version was an awesome experience.

        And, as Claude Whitacre pointed out, some movies are better suited for 3D.

        I like it, but that's just me.

          I agree with Joe. Claude Whitacre is a genius. :rolleyes:

          Some movies really look great in 3D. I watched Man Of Steel in 2D and in 3D. The 3D didn't make much difference, but some movies are made with 3D in mind, so the scenes take advantage of the difference in depth.

      No! No! No!

      You are not allowed to say some silly thing and escape. Explain yourself, Sir!

      I just learned what "twerking" was. And now you lay this on me?

      It's going to be a long day.

        Claude it's just geek speak for depth.
        3d space is measured by:
        width = x axis
        height = y axis
        depth = z axis

        So the difference between 2D and 3D is Z, you see!
