Thread update time on the forum?

Hi folks,

This one's directed at mods/admin or longstanding members who might also know...

When I reply to a thread in the WSO section, the thread doesn't get moved to the top of the section. Instead, the thread stays where it was before I posted, i.e. on page 2 sometimes. How long does it take to get updated? I can't see settings for it in my UserCP.

The latest thread link on forumhome shows the last replied to or created thread but when you actually go into the forum, it's out of sync, even the times/dates are all over the place.

Thanks!

Make sure the settings at the bottom of the forum are correct (well, none are wrong, but this is default, showing the latest reply/topic first): screencast.com/users/mllajesse/folders/Jing/media/5929cdcf-4166-4d16-9f51-b8eabdd723f7

If that isn't it, I'm not sure what the problem could be.

Threads don't get bumped in the WSO section unless/until the OP takes action to do so (Like re-posting). This keeps folks from 'bumping' the thread the top over others who just paid to start a WSO. To my knowledge its the only forum here that does that, the rest do as you explained - make a new post and it gets sent to the top of the heap.

to make a short story long - its the way that forum works, nothing you can do about it.

    best,
