I remember a few years ago, when that Harry Potter was all the craze, I bought a book of spells and began to learn how to make magical things appear.

One of them was how to turn potatos into gold. The instructions were to place one potato on a glass plate, sprinkle lemon juice on it, then wave your wand over it, while repeating the words "zitabble blinky doo" ten times in one breath.

Why would we want to get on page 1 on Google for the phrase zitabble blinky doo ?It seems such a ridiculous phrase to try and rank for!

Surely Google will spot this and make sure we NEVER rank for zitabble blinky doo???!

I used - red and yellow spotted paint - to illustrate a talk I gave on the stupidity of trying to rank for silly keywords. I still rank Nº1 for "red and yellow spotted paint" but leave off the quotation marks and I am nowhere.

A also have - uppitytowntraders - out there.

Yea . . . what happened is that made that comment on another thread THEN started this one.

This goes to show the importance of timing with content. . . . who ever is first Google gives slight preference to them.
