I am so excited (tongue in cheek here) I was just on Facebook and saw one of those Mommyblog ads for for some kind of secret teeth whitening product. I was almost overcome with nostalgia for the pre-FTC days.

Every once in a while I almost miss the old days of the direct mail "My name is Philip Brown and I am a lawyer" chain mail letter.

    Regulations in the marketing world don't seem to throttle the "opportunists" and "make money doing what I did" crowd too much. A few comply, many don't, many seem to have the attitude "the feds have bigger fish to fry" than solo business guys.

    Will we ever be spam free? Not a chance!

    Will there always be get rich quick schemes? Bet the farm on it!
