    Kewl story. Pets are known to be stress relievers, and great companions. I'm surprised more prisons don't keep animals on grounds. I'm sure a few of the inmates would be dangerous for them, but most would actually benefit from them.

      And it would give a good home to a lot of animals.

      Unfortunately, prisons are already overcrowded and understaffed,
      so no real solutions along these lines are going to happen around
      here any time soon.

      As it is, people are buying into the idea of privatizing more prisons,
      despite the absolutely horrendous results already shown in Louisiana.
