    At least SHE followed a logical progression with, I assume, some successes under her belt, so it isn't like she was hired ONLY because she was a woman. Electrical engineering student->plant manager->director of engineering-> senior vice president for global product development->CEO I guess all THAT will be lost because the headline is "FIRST woman...". Stock holders will like that, though SHE made a BIG jump, the CHAIRMAN is a former CEO and chairman of Cummins.

    Just great! Now all GM cars will come with Panoramic mirrors and the glove box will be replaced with a make-up holder...lol j/k

    If she replaces the fake looking wood dash boards in the Buick I'll be a fan of her's for life.

      ironically, two of her jobs could have involved such changes! CEOs care more about how OTHER people are doing their jobs, and how the corporation is running.

        Seeing that she's the first female CEO at GM and knowing the companies past
        safety record do you think she will make any changes to the companies
        Preventative Maintenance Schedule?
