    It was time for him (IMHO).

    If I had to have a homer I'd select the Babe since he took the fewest at bats to hit a home run - 11.0.

    Hank Arron hit more homers but his ratio was closer to 14 at bats per homer.

    The Yanks have won more titles than any other American sports franchise.

      Playing for the Yankees places him out of the running.
      The AL doesn't play baseball.
      Baseball is played with 9 men.
      The AL plays some weird alteration that uses 10 men.

      However, giving the AL the benefit of the doubt, I'd say Brandon Phillips is better.
