Pacquiao seemed to win, but the judges scored it in Bradley's favor (split decision).

I think Mayweather would probably win against Pacquiao, considering how he easily dismantled Juan Manuel Marquez, the boxer who KO'd Pacquiao.

Pacquiao should be able to take out Bradley.

As for Mayweather, I'm not sure his shoulder-rolling defense
can take Pacquiao's power?.. If the fight goes the distance then
those arms would be slowed by all that punishment when they
get into the final Rounds, which could give Pacquiao a real chance.

Both fights should certainly be worth paying money for,
that is the one thing I do know!

Perhaps you don't like Mayweather.

If that's the case, you are clearly letting your dislike of the guy get in the way of understanding what will happen if they get in the ring together.

Mayweather has made everyone he's been in the ring with look quite ineffective - to say the least. All the fights end up with Mayweathers opponents just waiting to get hit by Mayweather. They stop punching.

Of course Manny will have a punchers' chance but that's about all he'll have.

Manny has been smart to avoid Mayweather thus far but what else is left?

He can make at least 15-20 million if he fights Mayweather.

I predict at least 2 million people will purchase that fight.

Manny should take the cash and do the best he can do and ride off into the sunset a lot richer.

It won't really hurt him if Mayweather makes him look silly cause it'll be the end of his career anyways.

I stopped buying Mayweathers' fights because they're no fun anymore but I will pay to see him up against a man boxing people called the best pound for pound fighter in the world.

Really? Can somebody confirm this?

I think it was Mayweather who has been giving us "alibis" not to fight Pacman.

Man, I just hoped that the Pacquiao vs Mayweather bout will happen to stop all arguments. But in my opinion, Mayweather is ducking or avoiding this match. He knows fighting Pacman is a very high risk of HIM LOSING the fight.

It won't really hurt him if Mayweather makes him look silly cause it'll be the end of his career anyways.

Manny will still make twice or more as much as he can make fighting anyone else or as much in one fight as he'll make for the remainder of his career.

I don't understand what Bob Arum has done that would stop Floyd from making maybe 70 million in a fight with Manny.

- Maybe Floyd's contract with Showtime is a problem for Floyd in fighting Manny.

If he fights Manny while under that contract maybe he won't get the benefit of earning 70-100 million for the fight - and maybe a rematch.

He'll only get about 40 million for fighting Manny, because he signed a contract to do 6 fights for about 240-250 million - I think.

But maybe there's some clause in the contract that will allow him to fight Manny and reap some of the extra funds that will be involved.

Floyd's only 2 fights into the contract with another scheduled for this May, and won't be free from the contract for at least - maybe 2 more years.

---- If Manny could avoid losing and/or getting knocked the hell out again, there will still be big interest in the fight - in a couple of years, and I say 2 million people will order the fight if it ever happens.

I'd love to see Manny and Floyd get it on and will gladly pay for that fight.

I think Pacman beat Bradley much more convincingly in the first fight than the second. Pacman is showing signs of aging however he still looks like he has 2-3 good fights left before retiring.

I thought Floyd proved he was a fighter by standing toe to toe with a much bigger Canelo Alvarez. He stood right in front of a man at least 10 pounds heavier than him and forced him to stop punching.

And he also beat up the guy who knocked Manny out while laying a lot on the ropes - just to keep things interesting for the fans.

Floyd will probably have to knock Manny out since Manny likes to keep moving forward.

I predict the fight will go much like the fight went against Ricky Hatton. Hatton kept coming and punching until Floyd had to knock the living daylights out of him.

Manny can not out-box Floyd and I think we can agree to that.

Manny's only hope is to try to turn it into a brawl and then get lucky.

If and when the fight ever happens we can put a small friendly wager on the fight OK?

I am sure you have seen the Pacman-Hatton fight as well, right? It was a very easy fight for Pacman. How about for Floyd?

Nobody is "jumping on Mayweather" because he wants Pacquiao to

Many people will pay to see Floyd get his ass beat and that's the way he likes it.

When Ali traveled to UK to fight Henry Cooper in 1964 (I think), within a week he had the entire country hating his guts.

In the 2nd or 3rd round Cooper dropped Ali with a vicious left and the nation went wild.

But it was short lived as Ali got up and proceeded to cut Coopers face to ribbons.

I was 7 or 8 at the time and remember seeing the fight live, and seeing all that blood - in black and white, as it looked like Cooper's eye was hanging off his face and the fight was stopped in the 5th or 6th round.

After the fight the Brits all said... at least Henry put that loudmouth on his arss.

Because in the official fight, Mayweather most certainly did not
stand "toe-to-toe" with Alvarez-- He jabbed and evaded, nonstop.

Alvarez had no answer for it, because he is a one-dimensional fighter
with no concept of background timing.

Compare that to the competition that Pacquiao has always faced?

But my guess is that he would win the decision.
Pacquiao is smart enough to beat him, but is he patient enough?

Pacuqiao is a very skilled boxer, though not on Mayweather's level.
But he is also a very good fighter, and like so many fighters, he
prefers to fight-- whether he is winning or losing the boxing match,
he always wants to fight, and often way too soon.

I like Mayweather as a fighter but I hate his excuses and the way he claimed to be the best but giving many conditions to Pacman in order that fight to happen.

Based on skills, Mayweather really have them but again he's afraid to fight boxers who he thinks he might lose to. Just my 2 cents though.

Okay, let me verify some things.

Yes I know nationality is NOT relevant here. But just in CASE. I HATE how people ASSUME that I'm a Pacquiao fan because I'm Filipino. You know what I'm not even going to start. I'm done here. There's just miscommunications firing off left and right and I don't even want to go off. I'm tired. Long day working. Whatever. All I know is I'll choose Mayweather any day of the week.

The "what does that have to do with the price of tea in China" is just a figure of speech in the USA. It just means that something isn't relevant, and doesn't really have anything to do with tea or China.

For Pacman vs. Mayweather...I'd bet my money on Mayweather but root for Manny (unless I bet my money on Mayweather).

Before everyone jumps on Mayweather for wanting Pacquiao to leave Top Rank, let's not forget exactly who Bob Arum is...let's roll the tape for a refresher:

If Bradley stood toe to toe with Pacquaio, we could have seen a knock out that night. Give credit to Bradly, he meant his words to slug it out with Pacquaio but Bradly went back to his old self when he was stung by Pacquaio's razor sharp combinations.

If I was Bradly, I would do the same thing. I've got to run for my life rather than have my back flattened in the canvass. Sometimes, running was an ultimate defense to survive and that's what Mayweather was good at, running. Running away from Pacquaio.

I believe that if the Public would boycott Floyd Mayweather's fights, then, he would finally man up to face Pacquaio in the ring and not keep on throwing verbal jabs to Pacquiao in the media, twitter, etc.

Pacquaio was born gentleman even in his worst defeats and ever humble in his triumphs. That can't be said to Floyd Mayweather because of his Zero Lose and he keeps on bragging that he is the TBE( The Best Ever) .

After all, history will judge Mayweather as he keeps on running away from Manny Pacquaio's challenge of Mayweather's manhood for almost six year now.

I went to a house warming that turned into a fight party.

Maidana has some bad intentions with those looping overhand punches and he was about 15 pounds heavier than Mayweather who claimed he choose to stay on the ropes in the early part of the fight.

An accidential head but caused an opening over Mayweather's right eye.

I had the fight scored 6 rounds for Mayweather 3 for Maidana and 3 rounds a draw.

Maybe Mayweather is slowing down and I will pay to see them fight again.

I had it 7-5 for Floyd, but I think Floyd only pulled it down because Maidana got a little tired and slow it down. I always thought that Mayweather would pick Pacman apart, and win a wide UD, but after last night I think that Pac could beat Floyd up.

Yeah, the fact that it happened early is a lot of what gave Maidana
an advantage and a chance. Otherwise Mayweather would have danced
around him soundly the entire fight.

On the other hand, if it had happened a bit later, Mayweather may not have
survived this one. Either way, I'm not sure if it is accurate to compare this
fight to what would happen vs. Pacquiao, because the headbutt was a
definite major factor in this one.

All of that being said, as someone who had quite a few accidental headbutts,
I want to point out that it is always the hesitant fighter that gets the worse
damage, whether their head doesn't recover or they have problems with
vision. They are trying to calculate & avoid rather than fight, and that hesitation
of a fraction-of-a-second costs them dearly-- Often the fight, or almost the
fight, in this case!
