I really hope the Error 500's stop now that WF is owned by Freelancer.

I haven't seen anything Amazon's service can't handle, so I expect it to get better. It's going to take a little time though, so we'll probably see some more glitches in the interim.

As Dennis said, there'll be some glitches. Changeovers always do that.

If they do what they're saying, though, the end result will be quite an improvement. Freelancer certainly has the tech savvy and resources to scale it up.

I thought Paul gave up moderating years ago?

          Floyd,
I thought Paul gave up moderating years ago?
          I did, for 2 or 3 years. Then I suffered a relapse.

Yes, you are. All the other members got together and unanimously decided you should be the only one left off the mailing list. Don't blame me, I'm just the messanger.

It wasn't me. You didn't see anything. You can't prove a thing.

Dennis, I've checked to no avail. My profile email is current. These suggestions may help others though

Strangely, that one is still available. Might make for a fun gag site for someone with a deranged sense of humor and the desire to create a little playground...

I had to go back and search for mine, too. I just send freelance to spam. Don't remember ever joining up with them and figure I'd just spam folder them instead of delete them in case I was ever curious and needed more freelance work.

So anyhow - Paul. I'd also like to know -- you still a mod? Not that it will change my posting (lol - we knew that huh?). I'd just like to know that it's still the familiar place that it was before the change in ownership.

Sal, you've got the same moderators as before, so far anyway.

Thanks Dennis. That's comforting to me. As soon as I found out the place was sold I was worried everything I like about the place might change.

E-mail? I was supposed to get an email?

      Hold on...

Yep, I found it in my spam folder. Sorry, Allen. It wasn't me, I swear! Not my fault! But Congratulations!

Somehow the email never reached me, either. Wasn't even in the spam folder. Maybe you have to post so many times a week to get notified?
