Lebron VS Durant

Thunder and Durant made a statement last night. 14-24 36 pts.

I have total respect for KD! I like him as a player. He's humble, very humble. I appreciate it.

Lebron James seems somewhat arrogant and very proud. But that's just an impression. I heard a lot of celebrities talk highly of him on a personal level. I just think that's how he markets himself. He's not really like that. It just pisses everyone off, but I don't think he's a bad guy.

Basketball skills?

Lebron is on a different dimension. I would say. I am a Kobe Bryant fan. I used to criticize lebron a lot before, but he's done his job. He's undeniably good. When he finally won his 1st championship, i thought "i knew this was coming." Now is his time. I don't want to whine about him being surrounded with talented players and stars like him. That doesn't make him less of a basketball player. But I understand he is getting a lot of help.

This is why KD is doing better in terms of the stats. I just can't believe it took more seasons before the NBA gave him the MVP award. I think it should have been a couple of years ago or so. I am so happy this is an obvious win against Lebron in the MVP race.

KD has improved and he's getting up there. One thing I noticed during that time when the Thunder went up against the heat in the finals, KD COULDN'T create his own shot when heavily guarded, and he just passed that ball! I noticed that! And that alone made me think he's not yet on that superstar level like kobe, wade, lebron... But then, he was still too young?! Who cares? I was frustrated, but also understood KD had to grow and mature as a player. Now, I'm seeing a fiercer KD. He's getting up there.

I am sure that when KD reaches his peak, he's going to be really hard to guard than Lebron. Lebron uses his physical strength. That's his X-factor. But KD is a sharp shooter. He doesn't have to drive closer to the basket to hit those shots! Watch out!

Both great players I enjoy watching them. I do agree that Lebron comes off a little arrogant on the court but over all I personally like KD better.
