Just got a pair of Photives the other week but I'm having problems pairing them.

First of all, what do I have to do to listen to YouTube vids with these?

What about phone conversations using Skype?

Does your device, laptop, tablet or phone have Bluetooth? Is it enabled? It is not by default on my devices.

Once it is paired, they should work with all apps and programs, YouTube, Skype, etc.

I was going to say that myself, but I would not know the variants if it were setup.

Some bluetooth devices have, and I think you can maybe buy one for another blue tooth device, have an unobtrusive device that plugs into a USB port to enable you to connect to the bluetooth device.

I would say,at this point, that most desktop/laptop/netbook computers DON'T have bluetooth.

As I recall, most that DO have a point where they search, like with wireless, and show you all the bluetooth devices found. They have limited range, and do this only when on, so it is likely you may only see one device. You can simply click it, and things are paired. Look in the instructions, for the usb->bluetooth device, or the bluetooth section of your computer's user guide, for more detail.

I think you are correct on this. My tablet and phone both came with Bluetooth but have to be turned on.

Yeah, I specified the computers because at this point most phones, and MAYBE most tablets, likely have bluetooth. I think nearly all others don't, but they DO have watches and THEY likely have bluetooth. And who knows what others exist.

Ok, I paired my headphones with my bluetooth dongle on my computer.

It says they're connected but how do I 'switch' from using my speakers to listen to a YouTube video or iTunes to using the headphones to do so?

If you go to start. control panel, sound, playback, it should give you a choice.

Microsoft DOES change some things, but I believe THIS works the same on all the versions.
