Yikes!

Frank, darlin', if that is what brings you joy in the morning, you really need to start living life a bit more, take notice of the beauty around you, and shift your focus.

I can't imagine my joy being reduced to acknowledging that my bowels and bladder were functioning correctly.

Try titillating your senses with a nice hot cup of coffee out on the deck while listening to the song birds sing with joy that a new day has dawned while the sun gently warms you and the vast array of vibrantly colored flowers envelop you with sweet smelling aromas! Ahhh! Now that is my morning joy!

Right - I mentioned 'poop.'

This reminds me of the time that I made a post in the Copywriting Forum over the holidays. It was titled, "Copywriting Mistakes You Should Never Make," and contained a series of ludicrous suggestions like:

4. Eschew ampersands & abbreviations, etc.

5. Parenthetical remarks (however relevant) are unnecessary.

You have no idea at the uproar that post created which led me to believe that copywriters are devoid of any sense of humor as well as taking themselves and their avocation, much to seriously. People actually complained that there were things on the list that they did not agree with, (so much for their copywriting expertise) and ultimately the Mods pulled the post thinking that my contribution did not provide relevant content - or some such nonsense.

It's a beautiful Saturday morning here on Laurel Lake. I'm thrilled to have once again woken up, regardless of what I may discover in my undies.

Am I really that hard to get??? Hard to fathom as I am such a simple soul or simpleton, depending on your point of view.

LOL Frank!

Sorry I didn't get it.

Perhaps it is because after working in the medical field so long, I know that as men get older, their prostate gland can enlarge causing them to have to get up often through the night to pee and they fall right back asleep after relieving themselves. And why not with poo too?

I thought you meant you awoke at 6:00 am for good, to start the day, not just for potty purposes. That made sense to me.
