            I saw the same story on Facebook 2 or 3 days ago and did some checking. As mentioned, the site that reported this also said that Obama wanted to return Bowe Bergdahl to the Taliban. That was a pretty good indication to me that it was phony.

            Perhaps they were playing on the story of the Manson associate Bruce Davis who was granted parole a few months back.

            Doing a search just now I am finding a LOT of sites now calling it a hoax...

                It's one of Manson followers who MAY get paroled.
                I don't remember his name, but he has shown that he is no longer a threat. The parole board has recommended the parole the gov. hasn't approved it yet.
                Manson doesn't want to leave prison, at his last parole hearing he told them he's still a dangerous man.

          Yeah, it says that obama is apologizing, implying it is to people in the US! NO WAY! It DOES have an onion feel to it.

          As to charles manson? I KNOW he is old and all, but I thought the swastika was bigger and darker. I was about to make jokes about him wearing makup just to BEGIN looking somewhat normal!

    As for posting this? Sometimes the headline looks somewhat plausible, and people don't look at the rest.

    The SAD part is that this world is INSANE! AS SUCH, what seems HIGHLY unlikely today may be common place in 5 years or less. At some point sites like onion may go under simply because they can't think up stuff that is INSANE ENOUGH!

    Take Jacks examples, for example! Gun shaped birthmark? They HAVE been suspended for "gun shaped" things in paper and pop tarts, and even forming their HANDS like that! In NONE of those cases did the gun bear any real similarity to a gun. It was simply the impression on the teacher or whatever.

    HEY, look at the likes of tammy faye baker. If she hasn't posed nude YET, she MIGHT.

    Actors HAVE done similar things.

    MOST groups come up with one sided "studies" to do similar stuff.

    Who knows....

    I know a lot of people will disagree, but Charles Manson and his followers should have been excepted when California's death penalty was overturned in 1972. Even now, he gets visits in prison from followers who are enamored with his philosophy.

          Her eyes reminded me of Squeaky back in the day, very scary.

    It does a great job of detailing one of the most disturbing criminal cases of our time ("our time" being in the last 50 years).
