I love eat. I cant sacrifice eating for my weight loss. Is there anyway to lose weight keep habit of eating?

Sure, exercise more. The "secret" to weight loss is to burn more calories than you consume.

Try dietary supplements like garcinia cambogia? If you do not change how much or what you eat and how much you exercise, then you probably won't successfully lose weight.

There are lots of ways to lose weight but the primary way is to stop eating the wrong foods. If you can't do that, then forget it.
Another word that springs to mind is moderation. You may "love junk food" but if you greatly reduce the amount you eat and replace it with healthy food, that can help.

But if you're not willing to give up anything, then just watch the weight as it piles on and then, when you're suddenly a lot heavier, you'll regret your choices.

You may get diabetes, heart disease, strokes and other severe problems that will make you feel worse.

I know all this from experience!

I love to eat too, which is why I took it upon myself to study nutrition. It's about balance.

One of the best things I ever did was invest in a Healthmaster blender. It's very similar to a Vitamix but it's half the cost. I make a smoothie at least once a day that is 70% to 80% green vegetables, 10-20 fruits, and I throw in a handful of raw nuts (roasted are bad for you) and sometimes some flaxseed oil.

This one lifestyle change has had a dramatic impact on my health and well-being.

Another thing you can do to lose weight is to stop drinking soda and any other types of sugar-filled drinks. My doctor calls them "disease in a can" and for good reason. Once I stopped drinking soda the weight came off much quicker.

You don't have to be a gym rat to burn calories. I do it by walking at least 25 miles a week, spread out over 5 to 6 days. I also pick hobbies and activities that also help me burn calories. I go dancing at least once a week, I play tennis, basketball, go hiking, and I'm ready to buy a new bike to go cycling with my friends.

If you change what you eat, you can still have a "cheat" day or meal where you can eat anything you want. With my body I have found it best to allow myself 3 "cheat" meals each week. It makes it easier to lose the weight that way.

If you can force yourself to do this for 30 to 40 days it will become a habit. It's the first 30 to 40 days that are the toughest.

A couple of years ago I had high blood pressure of 150/100. And the doctor wanted to give me pills. I told him to let me try and change my diet, having been inspired watching food documentaries such as FOOD MATTERS and HUNGRY FOR CHANGE.

After 30 days of changing my diet to organic fruits, vegetables, legumes, seeds, nuts, etc. My bloood pressure went down to 130/85. Three months later, I went to the doctor and he was amazed that my blood pressure was 117/78 and that my triglyceride were at optimal levels and that my all around blood work was very healthy.

What you eat and exercise is the way to go, not just to lose weight, but to have a longer, healthier life.

Well said, Rod! I cold have said a lot more in my post but it seems to me that the OP has decided he can't give up at least some of the bad food so that is a huge hurdle.
I have experienced similar things to you in some cases.

I grew up chubby as hell, and in college I turned into a machine.

    My secret?

Get MASSIVE quantities of cardio and exercise. Exercise like a demon, and you'll lose weight. I'm talking REAL cardio. Sprint on an elliptical, go jogging, something to really burn massive quantities of calories. Put your entire body + mind into the exercise so you rip it up and burn mass calories. No half assing.

(Three hours of intense cardio per week, and you'll drop weight faster than you can handle, especially if you lift weights a few times).

And if you're older and don't like the idea of running hard? Just walk. I love what Rod says man, he nailed everything he said. (Though I think 25 miles per week could be a little harsh haha, I'd settle out of court for 10-15 miles per week; especially if you're starting out as an epic couch potato).

If you want to lose weight even more ridiculously? Stop drinking EVERYTHING except for water.

These days, I don't even visit the gym anymore (I find them to be disgusting and germ ridden) and am in better shape than I've ever been. (I maintain health by going for long walks... And I feel stronger than I did even when I was lifting lots of weights almost daily).

PS: One thing I loved when I was a "gym rat" was the elliptical machine. You can totally SPRINT on those for a half hour with minimal impact to your knees legs and feet; so even if you're old with not much dexterity (no offense) you can make it work. And, the cardiovascular exercise you can get from these (if you SPRINT) is amazing.

PPS: One of the best things you can do to lose fat, is gain muscle. Your caloric requirements will increase, and as a result you'll require more food to maintain weight. So, if you lift weights, gain a tiny % of muscle, you can theoretically burn fat faster. Just my humble $.02, and an opinion bestowed upon me by the muscliest of musclehead gymrats.

You can keep eating and not gain too much by eating the right kind of food. Eat healthier and you won't gain too much. The problem with weight gain or obesity is that we are eating way too much of the junk foods and not the right ones which is the main cause of us getting fat.

Yep if you eat Fish/Chicken and veg's i doubt you'd be fat after a few years...but those Corn fries, burgers and ice cream is too tempting for many. Nothing wrong once in a while..not every day.

I actually think it's a disgrace to be fat unless it's a medical condition. What does is say about a person that doesn't give a damm they have a big fat spare tyre and man boobs? Not much.

I've lost 5kg in 3 months now.....very little cardio but no junk food, no snacks, high protein meals and lifting weights again. EDUCATION (surprise, surprise is the golden key) My goal is to get down to 10% body fat in 2 years time.

screw cardio...a little is good. But not to the amount most "human hamsters" do it. They look weak and sickly. Many with fat pot bellies. What#s the point?

Lift heavy weights...no you won't look like ARNIE. That's another b*s MYTH.

Ha...screw it..you need to get educated and then do it.

But the fact is if you consume lots of junk food every day....it's all going to be a waste of time. But i suspect you know this

yes that's one way of doing it....but seriously who has the time or wants to run 1 hour a day? Guarantee after 6 months you'll be sick to death of it. And probably injured.

Only a fool would be lifting heavy weights daily. In fact you shouldn't be able to. Leads to injury, strenght loss and flabby muscle tone. ThaT'S WAY OVER TRAINING AND NO WONDER YOU GAVE IT UP. But i suspect you'll feel the same about your cardio at some stage. Good luck
