Handing Out Wordpress, FB, etc... Passwords to Employees - Risks?

Of course your employee should basically be someone you can trust and some amount of mutual trust is required and recommended. But I would like to go through the absolutely worst case scenario here:

Imagine somebody working for you turns against you (maybe even to blackmail you), he changes your wordpress passwords, all of your SM passwords and whatelse. The guy is sitting in another country far away.

So what can you do now, having spent years to build up your website?

How much do we depend on the good-will of anybody helpig us out?

    Access levels are used to control this.

    Don't give away Admin rights. Instead give people 'Contributor' access.

    There's no reason to place your trust in people when you can set the parameters of their power, eliminating their ability to abuse you.

      That's good advice, I found this list of user types:

      Administrator – nothing is off limits
      Editor – has access to all posts, pages, comments, categories, tags, and links.
      Author – can write, upload photos to, edit, and publish their own posts.
      Contributor – has no publishing or uploading capability, but can write and edit their own posts until they are published
      Follower (public sites) / Viewer (private sites only) - can read and comment on posts and pages

      However, what about Social Media accounts?
