His name is Michael Habjan. He is a CG Animator, coincidentally based here in Toronto. Here's his YouTube channel.

That was excellent, it seems neither of them would have won, and neither could be hurt!

However, if Superman had dragged him off into space, is the Hulk an oxygen breathing being, he would have died if he was. Superman never seems to need it.

Makes me laugh, this upcoming movie, Superman V Batman. One modest punch to Batman's head from Superman and he would be pulverized at an atomic level. Perhaps he has a Kryptonite necklace.

A problem with writing superman stories is to be consistent with his power levels.

I've seen him anywhere from "stunned when someone hits him with a hand grenade" to "Can blow out a star with his super breath".

And in some incarnations, Superman can breath in space, and in some he can't. He used to be able to fly at the speed of light, and now he can't.

But, if you go by the last time we saw Superman in a movie, and the last time we saw Hulk in a movie, Superman would win very quickly.

And don't argue with me. Don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry. (remember that?)

Who could ever resist squirrels? (Or fluffy bunnies for this matter)

Among those he has defeated: Wolverine, Dr. Doom Thanos and Galactus and many more.

And her powers are summoning squirrels and some fighting skills.

                  It's a tongue-in-cheek Marvel thing...something a DC fan wouldn't (couldn't) understand.

                  For educational purposes:
Following her defeat of Doctor Doom,[7] an ongoing joke depicts Squirrel Girl repeatedly attaining victory over various villains, some of whom are considered to be more powerful than she is. Typically, these victories occur off-panel, though some, like her battles with Deadpool,[13] MODOK,[11] and Wolverine,[17] are shown. Her victories often result from her opponent's overconfidence, weakness from an earlier fight, or creative use of her powers. For example, her defeat of Bi-Beast: While visiting squirrel friends in Central Park, Squirrel Girl came across the Thing fighting Bi-Beast. She told the squirrels to retrieve the smelliest garbage they could find and place it around the combatants, resulting in everyone having to hold their noses. Bi-Beast had to use both hands to hold his nose, leaving himself defenseless, allowing the Thing to knock him out.[12]

Squirrel Girl's defeat of Thanos is an ambiguous one. Uatu, the Watcher, was present at the battle and claimed Squirrel Girl defeated the genuine Thanos and not a clone or copy.[11] Thanos has since claimed he has perfected a means of creating clones of himself that could fool even "the most cosmic of beings." Adding to the ambiguity is the fact the reveal comes from the mind of a clone whose memory had been altered.

We also loved talking like the super Villains.

I think we should set up sides.

My position is that DC characters can always beat up any Marvel character. Batman can take the Hulk in an arm wrestling contest.

                          DC heroes are that good.

And anyone who thinks that Marvel heroes are better, is a moron.

                          The line has been drawn.

I'm basing this stance on one piece of empirical evidence....I think the argument is funny.

I'm not really a fan of either character, so I have no dog in this fight other than being an admitted Marvel fanboy.

They've fought three times (I believe). Supes clearly won twice (with an asterisk as one "victory" was by fan vote). The third time was less convincing. However, these crossover stories are usually tainted. DC has a lot more to lose by Superman being punked than Marvel does by the Hulk losing.

That said, I think the most honest assumption is that the Hulk's ability to win the fight is directly proportional to how long the fight last. The longer it goes on, the stronger the Hulk gets.

Actually, the longer the fight lasts, the more issues it takes to tell the story...the more crossovers into other titles it takes, and then you have to buy all the back issues!

Sorry, a flashback to when I bought a comic where Superman died. That took a good year of 5 titles.....and a renewed addiction to comics.

I read some of the Superman comic books and in one he swallowed a small nuclear device and it exploded inside him. A little puff of smoke came out of his mouth, excuse me he said, must have been something I ate. Now that's hard! Don't pick a fight with him Incredible Claude. You would be about as effective as the Jolly Green Giant. :-)

Tell a lie, was that in one of the films where he swallowed something like that, I seem to recall it in both?

There's sufficient canon that the Hulk can survive in space by holding his breath and/or mutating, depending on which Hulk we're talking about. How long he can survive is up for debate.

I'm with you on Supes versus Batmunch. It's a big suspension, for me, of comic book "reality" that such a "battle" gets anywhere. Couldn't the aftershock of a Superman sneeze blow the skin right off Bruce's body?

OK, you got me there. So, I'm taking the Marvel side.

Those DC loving scum bags can have their stupid Batman. We have Squirrel Girl....and Howard the Duck.

      ------

By the way, nicely done. Take my argument (frivolous though it is), about the characters, and make it an argument about the creator of many of the characters. So, you just changed the basis of the argument.

Now, the argument isn't "Who's characters are better"...it's "Do you really love comics, or are you against comics?"

      I'm seriously impressed.

Here's another example of what you did. A brilliantly written scene.

...It was an apple cart. And the apple is the smartest of all vegetables.
So, you admit that you have the mind of a vegetable?

My wife said "That Riffle seems like he's as dumb as dirt"

And I defended you. I said "That's not fair. Riffle has the intellect and charisma of the smartest vegetable there is, an apple"

My wife and I talk about you a lot!

Added later; My wife wanted to know why I compared you to an apple. She said "An apple has no brain. I get that..but why an apple?"

And I said "Because apples are rotten to the core, just like Riffle".

      We consider that Pillow Talk.

Added even later; Dammit! I thought you, or someone else would post "But an apple is a fruit!"...to which I could say

      "Just like Riffle!"

Do I have to do everything ?!

You are not allowed to enter this conversation, until you use a capital S on Superman.

And Dr. Manhattan is a DC character also. Do you know the Charlton character he was based on? All the Watchmen were based on old Charlton characters.

Added later; But you're probably right. He could turn Superman into ice or snowflakes. In The Legion Of Superheroes, there is Element Lad. He can change any element, into any other element. If that isn't a Godlike power, I don't know what is.

Apologies for the S, I'll be calling you claude next!

My only knowledge of this character is via the movie Watchmen. This off the web. He would be tough to crack.

            Size Alteration

            Enhanced Strength

Teleportation of himself or other individuals over incredible distances

Matter Manipulation/Atomic Structure Control - limits unknown. Has been shown to be able to do things like: create crystalline structures on Mars, create a small amount of water, melt a portion of a tank. It was also stated he possibly could have turned a gun to steam, bullets to mercury, and a bottle to snowflakes by an angry Blake, though he is never actually shown doing these things.

Can create copies of himself which act independently of each other, but operate in an intelligent collective fashion.

            Intangibility

Atemporal (in terms of his perception of time).

            Does not appear to age.

Does not seem to require food, water, or air.

Creation of Environmental Fields - as seen when he creates a field around Laurie, allowing her to survive on Mars.

Can read atoms and sense tachyons

            Telekinesis

Able to restructure himself after the removal of his intrinsic field.

Disintegration/Intrinsic Field removal - It is unclear whether he is disintegrating his targets or removing their intrinsic field. It should be noted that he does seem to need to aim his hand at the intended target.

He points for dramatic effect. For some reason, Many superheroes have beams of something coming out of their hands.

He was based on the Charlton (and old comics publisher)character called Captain Atom.

He can transmute matter. That pretty much gives him his powers.
