    Instead of worrying about promoting your graphics business to people who you don't know and who don't know you, how about taking some time to introduce yourself, read the rules and post so people can get to know you. Then more people will feel like helping you.

        Five lines including blank ones. Limit on number of characters also. Read the sig file rules. No affiliate links or affiliate template sites allowed.

      Hmmm, l have referred to my sig, products links here and there, without any issues, but that was as a response, not as a stand alone post.

      But a newbie, like yourself, may have a harder time, bending the rules.

      I have posted here, for a good 4.5 years, and also have the highest number of views for my Mars thread on the WF; it seems that Martian fluffy bunnies open doors, (so to speak)?


      But like anything in life, the more you contribute, the more freedom you potentially have!

        If it was in direct response to a question about a product, it's possible no one reported it or a mod didn't see it. I have seen self promoters posts deleted in direct response to a question, so advising people that you can get away with it is probably not a good idea. I report it when I see it, as do many others. The WF would be nothing more than an enormous link farm if that type of posting were allowed.

          Ok, fair enough, l was just saying, that if a question arose, that someone wanted to know what WSO, or products l have developed, l would mention my WSO, products.

          But, if someone brand new did that, then the ice would be thinner, (so to speak).

          As both of us know, Spammy threads, and zero posts, thanks, etc are a cliche on the WF!


          I am assuming that a total newbie, with good intentions and a WSO, in the sig, file, that they discuss as a response, would have a greater chance of being warned, etc. But l believe there is some truth to this.

          Or it is far easier to trust a friend, than a stranger!


          Or another way of saying it is, if you are a total newbie, that wants to push your WSO, then contribute for a few months, and be brief when replying to a question!

          If someone asks, a WSO content related question, and you reply with a 500 word advertisement, then regardless, of how much respect you have here, it could turn nasty!

            Hello, welcome to the forum.

            I agree, introduce yourself, create a signature, make some informative posts, help other members solve problems, enter some discussions, network, if you buy something share your feedback, etc.

            And as others have mentioned, there is paid advertising too which works good.

            This is a community first and foremost. Be communal.
