Next we will be getting a notice from the family accountant saying he can't confirm or deny the passing but to respect the family's privacy by not discussing or paying tribute to the person who may or may not have passed on.

Money sure does whacky things to people.

    Oh and RIP Don Pardo.

One of the greatest and best known voices in TV history. I tried finding the Golden Girls episode where Dorothy dreamed she was on Jeopardy but couldn't. Don had such a funny line towards the end when he tells Dorothy in that amazing voice "You don't even win a copy of our lousy home game."

The man was absolutely the best at what he did.

      RIP Don.

** EDIT ** Scratch the Golden Girls. I think it was Weird Al's Jeopardy. Oh crap, I don't remember. Anybody remember which one it was?

** 2ND EDIT ** Okay, I found it. It was "I Lost On Jeopardy" by Weird Al.

        Hi,

Me and Thomas seem to have the negative midas touch - wherever we post it magically disappears in a puff of smoke! I wonder how long this will last? Better not mention you-know-who.

Roger, I think I know the thread you're referring to. I actually received a PM from one of the members here that the family was very upset, like the whole thing was my fault for asking question.

So I reported my own thread to the mods explaining what just happened and I guess they decided that it was best to delete it.

Personally, I don't get it but whatever. I just don't sweat that stuff anymore.

          It is what it is.

And as for having the negative Midas touch, you're looking at the king here.

Eh, you didn't do anything wrong. I have never seen a family upset over people paying tribute to a family member that passed away. Never!

That leads me to believe this was more about people selling stuff using his name (not necessarily family members).

I think Roger was talking about the wso that kept getting bumped under VV's name.

Can I come in here and say how much I enjoyed Don on TV without his "partner" that never made a dime without hanging on his shirt tails putting most of our names, lampooning us as trolls, on the page of a website of his that he was never able to get off the ground?

Bet Don knew guys like that. I bet he'd have some great announcement about it that would make us laugh, too.

            RIP Don.

OT Forum's been looking like an Obituary this August. We've seen a lot of celebrity deaths for the second half of the year. Death is a topic that depresses me a lot, but it gives me hope at the same time to make the most of my life.

Robin Williams, Lauren Bacall and now Don Pardo. Such great and talented people!

Will I ever be among them? No one knows.

    Yes, it is sad... However...

All I know is what I want them to say about me at my funeral....
