I've lost an Aunt earlier this year to cancer. Now, the Doctors have given another Aunt of mine a very short time to live. She needed a bone marrow transplant but didn't receive one. My Grandmother is 85yrs old and she's seen 3 of her Daughters die...

It's a very difficult time for us.

I am so sorry, Bill. Strength and peace to you and your family. If there were something I could say to take away the hurt, it would be said.

So sorry to hear this Bill, you're having a rough time of it at the moment and I do hope she is ok. Make sure you try and keep your chin up, these things are sent to try us and you've got to stay strong for those kids of yours.

I sincerely hope you're whole family and you are going to get through this ok.

No parent should ever have to live long enough to bury their children. Rejoice in the fact that she has had a long life and was able to share it with all of you. While there is nothing that anyone can say to ease the pain of what you are facing, I hope that you and yours can find some ray of sunshine, peeking through the dark clouds of despair. May it warm your soul.

    Be strong.

    Cheers. - Frank

My prayers are with you and your family.

My mother passed away on 1992 and my father at the age of 87 passed away last January of this year. Although both left us, they still lucky as they never lost any of us during their lifetime. I miss my parents every time I hear something like this.

      Bill,
      So sorry.
My parents are getting to that age where they can see the home stretch. It is just a tough thing to really comprehend and accept.

My condolences to you and your Family.

Very sorry to hear about your troubles, Bill. One of my friends got testicular cancer last year. He himself is a Doctor, and his wife is doing a PHD on cancer research (which is handy!). I sent him some triphala and his wife recommended it. There are papers out there that show it slows down cancer growth. Cheap stuff. I'm sure you can get it online. I buy mine from the local super market.

My Grandmother may call me dear but I wouldn't say it to another man. If you went into a pub where I live and said it to another man, you may not be able to walk out of the pub unassisted.

I've never understood this neither, however I watched the documentary on The Royal Marines and a young guy from Egypt called his dad "Dear" on his mobile...
