G'day!

I would just like to introduce myself seeing as I'm a new member here at Warrior Forum's. I couldn't exactly find an Introductions thread, so this part of the forum is where I'll make my first post. As stated, I'm new here, though I am a long time member of other internet marketing forums such as DigitalPoint and also SitePoint. I've heard a lot of great things about Warrior Forum's so I may as well give it a try.

A bit about me

My name is Mathew Carpenter and like most on this forum, I am an entrepreneur. Instead of having a massive introduction written like a sales letter, I'll jot down a few key characteristics about myself and see if anyone else shares the same views:
  • I spend over 8 hours a day on the computer
  • I'm in my last year of high school
  • I own Tisme - a website design and development business
  • I'm extremely interested (and actively involved) in social media
  • I'm indefinately suspended from eBay (oh do I have some horror stories!)
  • I own over 25 developed websites and over 100 domain names
I would post links to some of my websites, though apparently you need a post count of 15 or more, so bugger! Catch ya round!

    Matthew, welcome to the forum.

This is a great place to learn about our industry AND to pay it forward by helping folks out.

If I may make one suggestion - I would recommend you concentrate more on learning from the forum and contributing rather than worrying about post counts and providing links to your other websites. Put those in you signature (but follow the rules) and in your profile.

If you treat this place like a potential cash register you will not go far. Contribute, help out others and be willing to be helped by others, and the cash will come. This is not a place to make a quick buck and move on - its a place to make lasting friendships and learn about our industry.

    My $0.02 anyway.

Having said that - congratulations on taking action and setting up your web business and websites. That's a big hurdle lots of folks never overcome. I have a problem with analysis paralysis in that I spend way too much time preparing and researching, and not enough time doing. So you have a big advantage by just getting out there and doing something.

Again welcome and if there's anything I can do to help out just let me know.

    best,
    --Jack

    • Hello

I too am new I am a prolific investor in domain names and planning on launching approx 5 sites ASA-F-P. Please get in touch if you want to share any ideas I have approx. 150 domains. We could discuss the burden of having so many lol.

Will probably try and launch some kind of local freelancy SEO / Web Design business off the back of it but need my own web (fingers crossed) real estate first.

The domains I own are across the board in all major niches. Would be interested to hear in anyone else who is into domaining.

This seems like a cool forum so hope to meet some other like minded ppl.
