What Does Music Taste Like?

I was into the Strawbs and Cream. Used to listen to them together, very tasty.

Deep Purple did an album called "Come Taste The Band" but I'm not into cannibalism

I used to listen to Popcorn by Hot Butter in the cinema.

Quitting while I'm ahead.

Well, we have different sense departments in our brains - and the data received is coded in crossfiling with other departments in our brain - for instance the sensation of "sweet" has had a codette attached that connects it to the word "sweet". We've also heard of "sweet sounds", which I realize is figurative, but we often hear taste terms used in connection with sounds. "Sour note", "bland", etc. So I don't think it would be that much of a jump for someone with real musical talent's brain to start sticking taste sensor codettes into sound data. I've never even stopped to notice if music ever brings a taste sensation to me. Interesting. I'll be looking for it now.

I could say an F sharp is lime green and a B flat tastes like salted caramel....you have no way to prove or disprove it. That could be fun...
