I came across this on Youtube. Anyone know how this internal power was used?

I was thinking maybe it's a reaction of body heat on the halite. Same with the light bulb - some sort of electromagnetic or heat play on the mercury in it. Not sure. Interesting though.

When I was upstairs in my work building I think our carpet built up a charge in our bodies of static electricity. I was able to walk in to the canteen and put my hand near a polystyrene upturned cup and it would move across the table. Was always getting static shocks off equipment.

As for that guy, who knows, could be a total fake but it was not that impressive. I know a lot of magic tricks and their was nothing here that could not be faked.

There is a very weak field of electrical energy around our bodies, whether it can be concentrated with brain activity or not I also don't know. If he or anyone else can do that then it's effects are negligible anyway.

Again, it's static electricity. We did this sorta stuff in physics class, science class and electronics class.

Here is a dude using a plain old static charge to light a similar bulb.

Here is a trickster using a static electricity generator in his shoe.

How to Build a Wireless Energy Transfer Array to Power Light Bulbs Without Plugging Them In « Fear Of Lightning

This guy lights a bulb with a small radio transmitter...

On my ship we could carry 4 foot florescent tubes out on the deck and they would light up in our hands without connecting them to anything. The spurious and stray RF and/or Microwave energy from the broadcast and radar antennas were plenty to make standard florescent bulbs light without plugging them in to anything.

Here is a dude that is *sorta* simulating an active radar antenna using his microwave oven. Microwave ovens and some radar sets use a tube called a magnetron to produce the high power.

NightHawkInLight shows you how to build a very nice negative ion generator that allows you to discover your own inner powers!

Thiese videos will show you the power of a portable static electricity generator. Watch him draw arcs, start a fire and create a dust storm with the "power" of his hand. Dude becomes is walking EMP. All of the effects demos take place from the 0-55 sec mark and the rest of the video is the build.

This is his first version of the device. At the 1:00 mark you can see him create a dust storm and mess up electronic devices.

His YouTube channel has some pretty cool stuff on it and it's well worth the look.

Dammit. I was hoping for theories about how his internal power came from exciting the atoms in his body by concentration on his Chakras.....or something like that. Yeah, it's just static electricity.

But I've seen old "Internal Masters" do such nonsensical tricks that I would laugh out loud when I saw them. But some people take it all so seriously.

Anyway, the kid put up the video as a joke. But when I watched it, I thought it was interesting.

Forumguru's electrical generator in a shoe is how many do these tricks. I saw a video of a guy starting newspaper on fire with the palm of his hand. And I've seen people...here...convinced that it's real. Nope. Phosphorous in a protective strip, stuck in the newspaper. When you crinkle the newspaper, it exposes the phosphorous to air, and it ignites.

In fact, except for some breaking feats (breaking a coconut with the palm of your hand is really really hard to do), they are fakes. And the "Internal masters" are the worst offenders.

Yup, that's what I do. It looks like a bunch of spinning, twisting, and walking in circles. And it doesn't look like a martial art at all.

No way - he's an evil sorcerer with magical powers! He rides a rainbow unicorn and drinks dragon blood for energy. Stay away or he might turn you into statue . . . or a chocolate covered raisin!
