10k before christmas?

I wanted to know if that sounded realistic? Tomorrow, I plan to make at least 100 cold calls everyday to see if I could get leads. To reach my goal, I would of have to close out 5 deals (all at 2k each).

After reading your other thread, I'd say no it's not realistic simply based upon your chosen approach of "I sell web design".

Web design? Is that even a solution?
What problem(s) does that solve exactly?
How much revenue will it generate for a customer?
What is the first thing out of your mouth when you do reach someone?

For your 100 number, I'd guess you will MAYBE talk to 5-10 people that actually have the power to pay you from the business coffers. Are you prepared to make all of those dials to MAYBE talk to 5 people? If not, you will begin to really visualize the road ahead and what it realistically will take to make your revenue goals.

With that said, I totally encourage you to go for it! Make them dials! You will learn a ton in the process and get a better understanding of the effort that will be required.

Parting thought: look 2-3 months out rather than 100 dials tomorrow because those 100 are a drop in the bucket to what you will need to do. And I am talking daily, consistent effort, calling and refining your presentation, getting appointments (not necessarily sales), giving demos, and simply trying to fill your calendar with meetings.

And there in lays the largest point of failure for more than most "Web Designers" You can spend your time getting the work, or you can spend your time completing the work. You cant do both at the same time.

You may make those 100 phone calls, and land a job, and for the next 2 weeks, you are building the site. During those 2 weeks, you are not calling...you don't have time. So once the job is done, then you are again in panic mode. I need to make a sale. You grab the first $500 job that comes along to say you are working.

That job takes way longer than expected, the client wanted the world for $500. another 2 weeks down. With 10 weeks to get to $10,000 you have made $2500 in 5 weeks. It is now December... Historically December is not that great a month. Day in day out calling.. you land another $500 job, so you can say you are working.

Times up.. you made $3000 instead of $10,000. $3,000 across 10 weeks is $300 a week. you could have gotten a job at Walmart and not had the stress.

I don't see it happening because you haven't shown
what a ultra specific problem a website solves a ultra specific group
    of people.
