Thin outdated portfolio

OFFLINE MARKETING

Question for you's guys. I have a thin & outdated porfolio for web design.

Would you just remove it completely from the site until you get one?

Also, I made some homepage mockups for a few select prospects, would you put a screen those on the website or wait?

I just told somebody else that has no portfolio they should still have a portfolio section on their website but include screenshots of themes and templates.

Don't say on the page this is your work for clients, but instead make the wording "Your website can look like any of these sites found here" with thumbnails or a gallery of themes/templates.

This allows you to be honest, but also give some visuals to potential clients that will show them what is possible.
