So my plan for this year is to make at least 100k before the year is over with. I plan to do this with cold calling, SEO, and web design. I reckon this would be possible since my services would be reasonably priced. My problem is that I don't know how to find high quality clients. The ones who see value in my services and not the ones who like to bottom feed.

    Just checking.
I'm trying something similar this year. I'm going with a pay-for-performance SEO model that I want to use to make 100K this year.
I can turn around 5-7 first page rankings in about ~10 days for local keywords. I feel like cold calling businesses on the 2-3rd page in a lucrative construction niche and offering to rank them in that kind of timeframe will reduce my marketing efforts/costs. I may have to wait a week or two to get paid but I feel like it's the most efficient way of creating 100K with SEO.

It isn't. It's just a tactic that a lot of beginners try to use because a well known coach teaches it without doing it himself and justifies it with fabricated spreadsheets and sales tactics.

Not saying it doesn't work... it's just not the most efficient and you'll likely find yourself getting burned numerous times.

I bought your WSO and was impressed. I'll try what you recommend there instead.

I would say no, it is not reasonable to expect that. I think max, you may expect 60K cold calling for yourself.

Cold calling can be great but it isn't compounding. When you stop cold calling to fulfill the work your sales are going to drop. If you outsource, you're going to spend time managing your team.

No one tactic is ideal as the sole strategy to generate sales in a business. If you had a phone room with multiple people cold calling non stop you'll have better success, but when you're doing this as a one man show you need to do much more than just cold call. The more you integrate your marketing together, the better.

The only limit is in your own mind. So, don't let people bring you down and follow your own path. Good luck
Ps: being unreasonable is the key to success .

      No, it's not.

When I was 18, the master plan came up with called for me to be a millionnaire by the time I'd be 25. At 25, I was going to be on my one huge yacht, surrounded by beautiful women, writing the Greatest American Novel.

The plan did not address any way of making money, though it had tons of detailed thinking about anything else, including how I'd spend my millions, the type of mansions I would own, the types of cars, etc. Just nothing about earning/making/stealing my millions.

      It was beautifully unreasonable, though.

Are you ready to work your ass off? I mean like 12, 14, 16 hour days every day? That's what it'd take but you could still easily fall short.

You could go after making two sales a week at $1000 a pop, for a total of 8k a month. But keeping up with the supply of everything you sold by yourself would be extremely difficult if not impossible.

All you need to do now is jump in and work at it every waking moment you can. After a month or two look at where you're at and reassess the situation.
