Help with Event Registration

Hello Warriors,

One of my clients is throwing a free event/panel for business women in Atlanta! The mass capacity is 200 and we are around 40 after announcing just the other day on instagram and facebook. I was thinking of creating a "squeeze page" on the facebook page and running facebook ads ( we have about a 200 dollar budget) Event is in March 2015! Any suggestions, recommendations, articles to help reach max capacity would be great!

    Google event brite. You can sell tickets online and do all sorts of great stuff with it.

      Thanks Rus! I am aware of eventbrite and we do have a page and i am sure that will get some registrants, because I ofter search eventbrite for free events to hone my skills. With my question i was more searching for anybody that may have experience with promoting events via Facebook Ads

        I personally have NOT done any event promotions with facebook. the thing I would try that is FREE to start with is develop the landing page and then join local Atlanta area facebook groups that would obviously tie in by interest to your event.

        Over the course of the next 10 days or so drop posts in those 4 times a day. at 8am 11am 3pm and 6pm. you will want to rotate those posting times between each group, and not drop them in each one 4 times a day.

          - Create a flyer. Add audio for higher conversions (Sample).

          "Ads that have more than 20% of text in their image won't be approved to run on Facebook." - Facebook Grid Tool

          - Upload a video with a call to action link to event registration page. Remember to add link in the description also. Most people will watch but will not click on the closing link.

          - Create an event page and invite people.
