Dialing Software For Telemarketing At Home

Alright, I admit it. I'm old school and haven't entered the 21st century yet from a technology standpoint. I've grown so accustomed to using an old phone (with a ring tail cord!) that I can rest on my shoulder and dialing manually. My cable guy said my phone was getting weak signal from the caller ID and it was time to replace it.

Heavy sigh, I'll miss you, old friend. Lol

I realize from reading some recent posts that even though I like to make fewer calls per day, while starting a new business I really should be cranking out the dials. I need things to move quickly so I can have some business in place before Christmas.

I'm wondering what others are using to crank out the hundreds of calls each day? I'd appreciate any recommendations.

Thanks,

Joe

I use vicidial, which is built upon asterisk but it does take a tad of tinkering/reading the manual. it might be overkill so the best solution might be some kind of online autodialer like callfire.

You need a phone where you can talk hands free. My main landline is a cordless but I also have an old school corded phone WITH a headset so I can talk and type with both hands. I did work for a call centre from home and it worked well.

I also managed various call centres and worked in others. I have used manual dialing and predictive dialing. If you work form home, I suspect having software would be counter productive and possibly expensive.

To increase your calls, you simply have to keep dialing. The headset gives oyu more speed because you don't even hang up or pick up the phone.

Calling is a numbers game. The more nos you get, the closer you are to a yes.

I work in RR Marketing (Telemarketing) and we use Ivocall as dialing and CRM software.
I really can recommend it. We have used it for 4 years, and it helps a lot.

    Sincerely,
    Martin

Make sure it is a multi-line dialer and get a headset. I used CallFire in the past but there are many. Salesdialers.com has a good reputation too.

Right now as I type this, my dialer is running. I have made 200 dials with 23 contacts in the last hour. This has resulted in TWO new prospects.

You really can fill your pipeline quickly with just a few hours a day of calling.

Thanks DaniMc! Much appreciated. I checked out CallFire and they want $199.00 per month for 5500 minutes. That's not too bad, but it seems kind of spendy when there's a limit.

I found another place, PhoneBurner, that's $149.00 per month for unlimited dialing. I also checked out Salesdialers.com and they're by far the cheapest at $79.00 per month for unlimited dialing, but I also saw a few bad to moderate reviews of them that's a bit concerning.

I just now spoke to a company named Dolphin Power Seller and I'm impressed with what they have to offer. Payment options are $89.00 monthly, $79.00 per month paying quarterly and $59.00 per month paying annually for unlimited power dialing. I'm leaning heavily toward them. They have a free trial of 200 minutes. I'll make a decision after I take the trial.

This is my setup which works amazing for me.

    1. VOIP subscription for £10 per month, gets me unlimited land line minutes
    2. Zoiper softphone
    3. Plantronics wireless head set
    4. Excel sheet with my numbers. Numbers are set to "click to call". I'd rather click the it be automatic

Extra columns for dial attempts, notes, call back dates, stats of the number eg NA, GK etc

I think it depends on if you need the bells and whistles to manage your list. You know this but more cost doesnt make it a better system.
