How has your year 2015 been? 2016 Plans?

It's another year end again and a long time since I have posted here. I am happy to say that things are going good for me and thanks to all the great people at WF who have made this possible.

I would like to give back. Any newbies need help? Ask me and I can answer. I am very much looking forward to 2016 and plan on expanding my business.

To everyone out there trying hard: Never quit! You quit you loose! Just keep going, never stop. You are stronger than your problems. God is on your side, You will make it.

It feels great to not to have to worry so much about money. Just a couple years ago I was there and now i feel much more secure.

Provide a great service to your customers. Instead of thinking how much I can charge him/her, think how much can I offer him/her for that price? Think this way and your customers will be happy and come back to you and recommend you to their friends.

That's it for now guys. Greetings of the season everyone and I wish all of you a very happy and prosperous new year!

YOU WERE BORN TO ACHIEVE GREAT THINGS!!! NEVER QUIT!!!

Being broke isn't fun or funny. If you're broke it means that someone else is supporting you. That's not a healthy situation.

You've been here since May of 2011 and haven't found the motivation to get your life together?

What's going to happen now that will change things?

if you have nothing nice to say why even write. get a life.
and for your information I am not broke broke... nobody supports me. I pay my own bills but at the end my paycheck is not enough.. but don't you dare sit on your side and tell me that I am being supported by someone else... we all got different situation so get the heck out of here with your nonsense

My apologies. You are not truly "broke", as you said. You have money to pay your way. Money to pay your bills. Money to buy what you want/need.

I now understand what you meant. Thanks for taking the time to explain.

You are in a much different place than someone who is broke and has no momentum.

You have money, momentum and skills that you are obviously using.

Since you're not broke, your situation is different from someone is who is.

I am trying to better understand, not pass judgement. It's hard to express that in a thread post. Let me see if I can do a better job of it. I'd like to help, if I can.

You've been here a while. What is stopping you from applying the abundance of cold calling and sales information, that this forum has to offer?

never really had the time. always worked during calling hours I guess. monday-sat from 8-7 PM...I am from the bay area so everything here is so expensive to live so at the end of working all those hrs i barely have enough... but I got laid off and now I got the time to make something happen.. I been reading around and I liked an approach JD used on one of his WSO's that he gave away.. I think I will try his approach starting tomorrow.
I will try to make 200 calls. I have a really nice service that I think that as long as as I get in touch and present to a few decision maker i should have a nice week...

my only concern is a post I read where someone said you can make 100 calls and barely speak to 1 decision maker. if those are the numbers, then I will need to step my game up on the calls or just figure out another way to get in touch with them so I can improve those conversions

I was new to cold calling as well and learnt everything I know from WF. One important thing I have learned from my experience in cold calling is PEOPLE BUY FROM PEOPLE.

Do not get caught up in thinking you have to do 200 calls today. It's not the 200 calls that is important. It is the relationship you build with the customer, the conversation you have with them and try to understand their business. Focus on this, if you make 10 calls and have 5 conversations this is way more better than making a 100 calls and having one conversation.

These are the average stats I have had with cold calling :

    Numbers dialled: 100
    Conversations: 10
    No answer: 40-50

On average it used to take me 2-300 calls to get a sale. I know this is high but that's how it worked for me, Hope this helps.
