Help needed for bringing leads

I have an idea for making great income with a service i can charge about $1500 monthly and do it for $300-$400.
The method I want to use is getting clients from online (phone leads) and hire someone in Upwork or somewhere else to do the telemarketing.
What do you think about that strategy and most important what method do you recommend me to bringing online leads?

    Yeah "manufacturing" is not an issue anymore so it all relies on getting the traffic that converts(or is enough to bring ad revenue) and has a positive ROI.

    I am not sure you will find people on Upwork skilled enough to get you cheap leads but you can try. Especially if you pay per lead.

    I tried calling, letters, flyers but I'll stick to online thank you very much. Not that those methods are not working, of course there are people that make a killing with them.

      I think you didn't understand my post.
      I will use Upwork for hiring someone that will Call my leads and convert them to customers.
      My question is how will i get leads with Online methods?

    It is definitely a good idea but make sure you have a good profile in such bidding sites.

    You can use facebook ads to drive visitor same with your niche.
    Or you can scrape emails from local website then contact them manually.
    I think method will different dependent your niche

    it depends on your Lead source , lead quality , About the conversation .. Beside that caller (freelancer) should have experience .

    What "strategy"?

    Your "idea" revolves around somehow bringing in online leads.

    You are posting here asking others how to do it?

    You don't have a strategy. Not even a "magical" idea.

    I found it challenging to find anyone who can do effective cold-calling on Fiverr or UpWork.

    I had one UpWork guy waste weeks of my time and never get around to making even one call.

    I paid a Fiverr guy $10 to call and close 50 numbers, for a method that others are saying that they are closing 75%, and that guy closed . . . zero. And he was getting lots of work, so probably no worse than others there.

    So you might need a lot of testing to find someone who actually does anything useful in terms of cold-calling . . . that's my experience anyway!

    I have a similar idea . . . I found a great sales-script here years ago, that told exactly how to sell a specific service for $3,000, and I could get the work done for $300. But finding anyone who can actually cold-call, has proved too much of a challenge so far . . . no doubt I'll have another go some time (working on other projects currently).

      Thats sound interesting..
      I think someone with good reviews in Upwork is good option. also there are freelancers there that works on commision so they will have the motivation to make sales.
