Improving Yelp Reviews

Without seeing the Yelp page, it's really hard to say. Maybe contact Yelp and ask. I'm an Elite Yelper and have never had a problem with any of my reviews being ghosted. It sounds like there's more to the story than we're getting.

I've read about Yelp receiving negative reviews from some business owners lately, who claim that they turned down Yelp's advertising offers and their reviews suffered afterward. I hope it's not true :-/

Ive been doing reviews in Yelp and this never happened to me, none of my reviews has ever been hidden like this, however I suppose it could be a possibility that Yelp is doing that to some users and is not showing those users that their reviews have been shadowed.
Does those reviews that have been hidden still affects the average qualification of your business?

it's pay to play, i could give you guys examples of some of my competitors, that had 30 reviews, last month, 15 not showing (the good ones) 15 showing the fakes ones like other person said above , after they signed up for the 1k a month plan, all of the 1 star reviews got deleted, it still shows them but it says they violated TOS etc, and now all of his good reviews are on on top, and bad at the bottom, here is an example of one of my competitors in another trade i offer,

if you read threw them, you'll see that they are written buy 1-2 different writers, and they key point is, they keep mentioning all the names of the employes, EX "The guys at Stoneshine, Ramon, Mario, Rafael, Damian and Oswald did an amazing job on my travertine " the first 100 reviews, the home owners are stating all of the employees names, I have sent out 3-5 guys to jobs, past 20 years, and these residential home owners don't even remember the supervisor's name , no fucin way , i have sent yelp emails on this with no reponse, and when i get them on the phone, they laugh and smirk, its all a joke, sad thing is i had to sign up for the lowest plan, 400 month, just so i dont fall behind, thats a fucin car payment

Is it a restaurant? Yelp has monthly parties for their elite members where they get discounted food to try...at least they used to. Have them contact the local Yelp representative and arrange for one to be held at their establishment.
