Looking for local business listing (directory) script...

Hi Nikola!

The only thing of this type that I have personally used is the ClassiPress WordPress theme available here: Classified Ads Software | ClassiPress

It's setup to integrate with PayPal so that doesn't really meet your requirements.

I have been looking at a php script called "BizDirectory 2" but haven't purchased it or played with it. Like ClassiPress, it is integrated with PayPal out of the box but they do offer custom programming so you might be able to get them to configure it for 2Checkout???

Don't know if you can, but it's worth a shot.

I bought this script last year. It seems to be ok. I installed it and played with the settings. I shelved the project so I am not currently using it.

The reason for not continuing was the delima of starting an empty directory. That kind of made me put in on the back burner.

Quick update...

I just checked their (BizDirectory 2) FAQ page and found the following information listed on the page:

Q. Is your software encoded? Can I edit it?

A. Not it is not, and yes you can!

So, as you're already a script genius, you could likely make the necessary mods yourself!

It mentions:
eSyndiCat Business Directory Software will also allow your submitters to upload information themselves, and pay online using one of our many payment methods which has been integrated into our business directory software including 2checkout, PayPal, Alertpay, etc.

Anyway, I have just checked out my account, there is a 2checkout plugin that can be download. I am not so sure if this is a free plugin, as I am a paid member.

Try this one. It was created by a Warrior. I think his name is Mark Fail. Anyway, here is the link to his site. 2checkout is one of the payment gateways listed.

I use Directory Script Software - PHP Link Directory Script , Cost $30 (with link back)

plus... Alternate Payment phpLD Vault Mod, cost $20

Allows you to use the following gateways with phplinkdirectory.

2CheckOut (2CO)
AlertPay
Authorize.Net
ccBill
ClickBank
eGold
Moneybookers
StormPay
WebMoney

I don't personally use the Alternate Payment phpLD Vault Mod so I can't speak to that but the directory is pretty robust.

Look for "eDirectory".

I've used both phpMyDirectory and eDirectory. Both are great, eDirectory is a bit more expensive (but nobody posted it yet so there you go!).
