That's the thing with Google, they're always changing. We kind of just have to live with it, adjust, and keep on moving forward. Not much we can do about them changing things, other than adjust what we do as things get figured out.

Google will have the 7-box then in two months they'll have a different setup -- Chad is right on the dynamic nature of Google -- The key to all of this is that we have to anticipate and do R&D on their newest changes and algos. A lot of people study the algos and this really helps people out significantly in regards to R&D needs for SEO and you pretty much see the changes coming.

I like the box and I like parts of the new ad system put in place by google for Google Places, let's see how it turns out. Google local optimization/places is KEY now

Thanks for the video Chris, did you have an itch somewhere? I had to keep following you with my eyes! hehe j/k

There is one absolute unequivocal immutable truth, and law that will never change at Google.

    Content.

Now that it appears Google Places has merged in the results with their related web sites we need only keep in mind that relevant and quality content is the end result of what Google wants to serve its users.

Of course there are some things for example in Google Places that are important and all of that is content in some shape or form. Reviews are content, photos, videos, related places all content.

So if we our websites are thin then we need to work on them a bit and the results will come.
