Google Number Tracking

Ok, I am going to ask this because I have a client that would like me to use Google Phone Number to track our efforts.

So, I would assume that I login to my account at Google,
go to voice area
and set up a phone number?

Then I would have this number forward to his business
number?

Then at any time I can look around in my Google account for
tracking reports for that number?

I have never used Google Analytics service. I used other forms of
recording traffic through my ONline Marketing Efforts, our upline provided a program that tracked our efforts for us.

I have read on here about using Google numbers to track (traffic)

any advice here is helpful or if there is already a good thread on WF that
explains this.

I find it easier to ask here then to just search on google. Here atleast you can give me advanced tips.

    After reading for an hour, I figured it out. I get emails anytime that new number is called. I figured it out. This is going to work great!


    It also lets the caller leave a message on the phone, then it transcripts it to an email that gets saved.

    The calls are all archived and shows which ones were missed and which ones were answered.

    Powerful stuff.
