Let's not forget the main goal as a consultant. Which, in my opinion, is helping your clients achieve more success. Whether that's though making THEM more money, cutting their costs, generating more leads, getting them online, helping them to get more free time, a combination of those things, or anything else along those lines.
Focus on helping your clients first. Stop focusing on "landing that big check."
See to it that your clients are happy and making money and YOUR money will follow. A side effect of helping them make more money is that YOU make more money.
