Need Help....Hosting For Offline Client!

Hello Warriors,

I am sure I can find some answers to my questions from your expertise and knowledge.

I am helping a client that runs an online newspaper and I need to host that website somewhere, per my client the site is already pulling around 600K visits per month, which I am not sure of (I am going to have to check their analytics to make sure those numbers are correct). My reseller hosting provider already told me that they will not be able to handle that traffic on a shared environment, which I completely understand.

I would like to get some recommendations on dedicated hosting services or VPS services. If any of you have ran into this kind of situation, please let me know how you handle it, and if it worked.

    I would recommend either VPS or Cloud servers.

    I think VPS would be enough, I know of a good managed company that really goes out of their way. ( They respond to emails at 6am on a saturday and just helpfull overall)

    Also might look into Content Distribution networks as well to help ease the load off.

      Can you tell me what company is the one you're referring to, so I can inquire more info?

      Also, I am in the ignorant part as far as cloud server goes, what do those consist of?

    That should tell you what you need to know. I use rackspace (for email hosting) and they have good customer service. I was planning on using them for cloud hosting but I never did because I found my vps company that is just amazing.

    Hey henry,
    I use a small company called Uberhost for my Server, and they are awesome.
    Cannot say enough about their customer service....

    They are reasonably priced, compared to other services, but the main reason I recommend them is for their service.
