Google Placement Possible for Approximate Address?

Have a client who owns a food truck and doing some seo for him.
He is top ranked on organic search but google places listing takes up the 1st page so he shows up on second page. Client is mobile and depending on where he finds parking he parks on one of the main streets.

Possible to add him on google places without a fixed address? Instead provide an approximate address?

Would appreciate your feedback/recommendations.

Thanks,
-Anand

In the service area & location section...choose the option for "serve your clients at their location"...then "choose not to have your adress shown. It will give you an option to select service areas either by radius from an area you select (zipcode maybe) or by selection specific towns / cities...

I use this option myself & have many clients top of the 7 box using this option...

    Good luck...

      Hey Ken

Does this still work given the recent changes at Google?

Google places still has the option in the control panel & my placement or none of my clients have shown any change.....so I'd have to say yes, it still works.

          Hi Ken

          Ok. Cool.

Everyone of our GP listings is with physical adresses and with clients who "go to the business" so we haven't played around with that at all.

Might just give it a shot.

          Regards

            Ken,

Thanks a lot for your response.
            Will play with that option.

Sounds like great Facebook, Twitter and SMS client. Their customers/followers will know right where they're going to be everyday.
