Dialing for Pesos

We are all in this together. Each day builds on the last one. I dialed about 50 numbers Monday b/c I got a real late start. I dialed about 55 numbers Tuesday. I went through 78 today. Believe it or not, I was on the phone 2 and a half hours for this many calls. May have been my fault . However, I did find 3 possible sales. 2 were on the phone 20-30 mins each. I already know the ins and outs of their business. One has been a millionaire twice and blown it living life. Kinda ironic, I rode by his business a few times a day at my last job. It is on the same street. Also, found out he spends 5k a year on the Yellow Pages and thinks it aint worth a damn these days. That shows me, ole man Rivers has the $ and ain[t afraid to spend it(might be why he went bankrupt a couple times He has jobs out town the rest of the week. I am meeting with him and the office manager at 1030 am Monday morning. This will be for some SEO work. He has a jacked up site. Might work out a "deal" he can't refuse for a site/seo plus a monthly seo work. Also, have a meeting with a furnisher refinishing businesses either this weekend or on Monday. He has been looking for someone to do his site for mths. Never found anyone so Sunday he got bored and used some free template online. Said it is probably pretty ugly and doesn't even know if the site is up at that free place. This will be a smaller deal but maybe muster a couple hundred profit. Real cool guy who knows a lot of businessmen. Try to get some good referrals if nothing else. Also, called my jewelry lady(big site I posted about yesterday) and she was out of the store. About an hour later, she emailed me back some more exact info . Hope to set up a meeting with her in the next few days and close this big one. Also talked to my "small time but wants to be a big timer" roofer for this afternoon. The quotes I talked to him about before was just too much. He wanted to work on a per lead basis. I don't have the resources to get that going so I am trying to work up a different plan to build trust with him. Offer to get him on first page of Google for 3 keywords. Then, work out the monthly. Search volume isn't too high. I can outsource all of that for $50-75. Not a lot of profit but pays for the time I have spent talking to him. Going to plug away on more free leads in the morning.
