Perhaps I'll do these but as WSO's. So each month would be another WSO product. I'd probably just keep them all in one single WSO. So as time goes on it will provide one place for people to see every months content and allow them to pick and choose what they want instead of being locked into a monthly membership.

Thoughts on this?

Doran has this covered - so many people lose sight of the fact that (a) it's a business, it will behave like any other business and (b) that marketing is the same essentially, be it off-line or on-line. The same principles apply.

I just realized that I failed to mention in my earlier post that Gene is a successful businessman with years of experience.

It seems a lot of people are like that. They would rather have a PDF so they can skim through it when they want. It's quicker.

I always do my best to leave out the BS and get right to the point. But, if I do go through with this, then I'll be sure to include any PPT slides, docs, PDFs, etc. along with the videos.

You wouldn't pay to have access to a group of like minded individuals that can help you make huge breakthroughs in your business?!

I'm not even referring to my membership site (assuming I did it). Just in general. Being a part of the right mastermind group is one of the best things you can do for yourself and your business.

So why wouldn't you pay for that?

Yes, part of it would be on coaching/consulting. But a small part. The things I talk about on here and in my products apply to virtually any business, not just consultants.

Thing you have to remember is when I, or anyone else (Michael Hiles, for example), talk about ways to improve your consulting business by positioning yourself properly, communication skills, generating leads, getting "high" fees, and all of the other things we talk about, they are the very same things a consultant could teach to their clients (read: a variety of different businesses).

Wouldn't you agree that most businesses could benefit from positioning themselves properly, lead generation, better communication with their market, higher prices and adding value, etc.?

A lot of people seem to gloss over the fact that "he's talking about being a consultant, that doesn't apply to other businesses."

WRONG!

This is something Dan Kennedy talks about a lot...people are always complaining "my business is different."

That was a long response to a quick comment. But the bottom line is what I talk about, and will continue to talk about, goes way beyond the scope of just helping consultants/coaches.

Thank you to everyone for all of their kind words. It's nice to see that what I contribute is not going un-noticed. So again, I appreciate the compliments.

I will think more about this whole later tonight and this weekend. And most likely will have the first months content ready to go by early next weekend...shooting for Monday.

Also, it seems that mindset should be one of the first things I cover. Unfortunately, mindset stuff is not pretty or something that will instantly add a billion dollars to your bank account with the push of a button. So most people tend to over look it.

Which is a shame. Because in my opinion, getting your head straight IS the shortcut.

I attribute learning the right mindset to turning my life around. Literally. Mentally I am in a much better place than I was earlier in my life. Mindset and self image is one of my favorite topics and I could teach a lot on the topic.

It's a shame others don't embrace learning the right mindset. Seriously, it helps you out in ALL areas of life.

I have a full production facility but this was quick and dirty so it was literally just jpg background with animated text using Corel Video Studio Pro X3 (which I like to use even more than Premiere sometimes because it has the hands down fastest rip engine known to mankind).
