Career in SEO?

Hi dear all friends !
I think in SEO our future is not best ,If you think guys in SEO our future is best than my question is that
How is SEO to take up as a Career?

Is it worth the time and effort .??

    You can make a career out of anything but I suggest you start off small. Keep your day job and do SEO on the side while building up your portfolio and reputation. After that, if you are actually serious about it as a career, you can try it after you 'know' you can do it. Don't quit your job yet if that's what you're thinking!

    If anything, SEO will be growing and expanding in the next year or two. For longevity, we don't know. There will always be something you can do if you're in SEO. Right now, I get paid for SEO, press releases, content writing, web design, social media marketing, link building, reputation management, and public relations, strategic planning, etc.

    Listen very carefully if you want to succeed. The only limits you have, are the limits you put on yourself.

      Yes I have to agree that SEO and SEM are hear to stay. The thing is though when drawing reference to a "career" in SEO,... what are you prepared to do in order to make a career out of it?

      Personally,.. although the basics of SEO can be learnt in a relatively short time, there's a whole lot more to it and you could and probably should be going a lot wider and deeper if you're going to make a career out of it and be seen as an SEO professional. Once at that stage you would virtually be assured of some very steady income, but the thing is,... mapping out a course.... and then sticking with it for the distance!

    yes definitely. many good careers are there for SEO and it is a very challenging job

    Once SEO was not a separate profession - Web masters performed some basic SEO for the sites they managed and that was all. But as sites began to grow and make money, it became more reasonable to hire a dedicated SEO specialist than to have the Web master do it. The demand for good SEO experts is high and is constantly on the rise.
