Google Places setup fee?

I've heard mixed reviews in regards to putting energy into google places SE, so I'm sitting on the fence so to speak.

So as part as an upselling package I was going to setup customers with google places and verify their listing.

Maybe in the future look into seo.


My question is, are warriors offering this service and how much do you charge?

      Hey Luke,

      There is no correct answer for your question. Basic setting up of the Google Places profile should normally not cost anything, as when you basically set it up it will not show up for any keywords most probably. You will need to optimize both it and the website for local search. The cost of this depends on the competition for particular keyword, but the two major factors would be location + business type.

        I can give you some ideas about the high end of the scale and have no problem sharing my prices.

        I charge $1,990 plus $200 per duplicate that I need to merge, purge. I break the payment over 2 months so it's 995 a month plus 200 per dupe.

        Now that fee is for more than set up and I don't even do just basic set up. I do deep analysis of the business, and tons of things hardly anyone does or even knows about. Plus that includes my training program on how to build reviews and submissions to build citations.

        Then that also includes an SEO analysis, but if they need SEO I have a separate package I designed that's only 895 and that optimizes their site, just for the 5 main keywords they select for the Place page optimization plus includes all the local hooks they need on their site for the merged algo integration.

        I only personally service one industry with the above package. All the other business I get, I refer out to a network of pros I send leads to. They all have varying fees, not one set price.
