Software for Citation Building

Just thought I'd throw this question out there - what software does everyone use to build citations? Manually inputting just takes too long.....

LBL Robot does not create the citation it just posts the reviews to them. LBL Robot doesn't at the moment post reviews from the same city. For $97 per month its just impossible to create user accounts for every US city. WE are looking at adding user accounts so that the post comes from the same state but that will be the best we can do for the price we charge.

don't use localeze.com it's crap and they don't do what they say they're supposed to do. I wasted allot of money with those fools.

The best way is to outsource and take some time to train them on citations. It really needs to be done manually and be custom for each client to work properly.

I actually am on the verge of buying this WSO:
    http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...offliners.html

I'm looking to see if there are any other options to compare it against, but the logic behind this software is actually VERY cool in the fact that it goes through the GP listings for the keywords and then finds the citation sites BEING USED to rank those sites (as opposed to just providing a limited selection)

For example a very powerful citation site for medical professionals is RateMDs which has a large impact on ranking for medical businesses in GP (at least in Canada).

There's also this free tool for getting into the 7-box: Free Google Places Pack Finder (Box Finder) Software | SEO solutions for Australian local businesses

    Cheers,

I recommend simply hiring somebody for 50 bucks, creating a set of instructions for them and letting them hunt down and fill out citations for you on listing sites.

Just call a jobless friend over and offer em the work. Since youve gotten a client by that point the 50 buck should be no biggie for you and will go a long way for your buddy!

    Spread the love, with money!

    Dexx,
Thank you for the tip on the software. It seems that it is a great one time investment. By quickly locating the targeted citation sites, you can hire someone on Fiverr.com to post the links. I have found that trying to get others to correctly do these mind numbingly boring posting tasks on a regular basis just does not work.

    All the best,
    Vito

There is no software yet that can do the citations.

I have them done by hand by a provider I use. It's about $50 for 40 citations.

Just here to see the shenanigans.

I really appreciate it as well Dexx. Didn't even know the software existed, as I've been researching what seems like a truly MADDENING amount of these directory citation websites lately for my manual directory submission service.

This software should help me uncover some more "goodies" for my own use and allow me to add some great citation resources to my master submission list. Thanks x2!

Some great tips shared. However, never go with an automated tool. It simply does not work. What I preach and practice is doing it manually. Here are a few tips:

      1. Hire someone on Elance. Just search "citations" on find freelancer search box. https://www.elance.com/r/contractors/q-citations/. My personal recommendation is Mrs. Jain and her team but take your own call.
      2. Choose the one that has good reviews and have done reasonably good number of jobs. Something over 50.
      3. Hire and ask for what sites they can build citations on along with Domain Authority.
      4. If there are some sites that require phone verification, ask them to make a note. There should be a maximum of 10-15 sites that require phone verification.
      5. Ask the contractor for a report on existing citations and COMMUNICATE clearly to avoid duplicate listing.
      6. Make a package deal with them on cost per 50 or 100 citations.
      7. Get the report with all username and passwords.
      8. Spot check some of the citations.

For the sites that require phone verification, you can do couple of things:

      1. Have the phone number of the business forwarded to the U.S. phone number of the contractors (During your non-business hours of course). All those that requires verification will be handled under 2 hours.

      2. You be at the customer's place for a couple of hours for managing the sites that require verification. This will benefit you to have a good rapport with customers, as well as getting the verification done via your contractors.

      Job done under $60.

    • Citations are a listing in a local business directory.
This will include the business NAP (Name, address, phone number) and other info.

For instance, a local law office will have its NAP listed in an "attorney directory". This is 1 citation.

Citation software would be something that puts these citations into directories automatically. This is not recommended because it won't work correctly. It's best to do it manually.

if you are still in need of software than there are many companies have websites like whitespark etc to send you NAP to many directories but not all and its not good way to spread your NAP citations because you have no control over it... I mean if in future you are going to change address, phone or biz name you are getting in serious trouble...

It could be helpful (and save time) to have a Whitespark comparison report of citations for your business and your competitors. It will speed things up.

I sell Whitespark local citations finder reports on Fiverr. Just look up whitespark. Mine is the gig with all the positive reviews.

Actually I feel like going there and giving a negative review since I hate looking at very old threads that people dig up just to promote themselves

I can't believe so many people are jumping in.

LocalCitation pulled a 4 year old thread out of the archives so he could pimp his gig on Elance.

Those posts from 4 years ago are irrelevant today when it comes to citations and SEO.

LOL>>> yup...over and over....people will come here with one or two posts and dig in the graveyard.....find an old thread and put on their pimp hat

Watch how any thread can be turned into "mobile marketing is the best" yawn

I for one am soooo sick of it. I also love when they come in with stupid comments cause their translator program doesn't work.
