Best affiliate program to promote offline? (trade shows, flea markets, etc)

What are your favorite ones to promote offline? Preferably free trials.

Some that crossed my mind were:
  • Netflix (kinda saturated)
  • A free Caribbean Cruise (sounds like a scam but whatever)

If you have any ideas it would be much appreciated, free trials and programs targeted at specific niches with trade shows are what I am looking for.

Thank you!

Yes, that thread is where I got the idea. Just trying to have a little group brainstorm and come up with some more programs I (and the rest of us) could offer.

Anything local would work out well. Most of the social couponing sites have affiliate programs. Restaurant.com has one. Of course those are all small payouts so you'd need to do good volume. If you wanted to do the travel niche there's numerous non-scammy travel affiliate programs out there you can promote. Everyplace from Priceline to Sandals has an affiliate program on CJ.

You need to base your offer on the type of place you will be at. If it is a trade show, then you gotta promote something that those people would want to buy. Don't just think about free stuff, they buy things too....you just have to give them something that interests them.

If you are doing flea markets (not sure about that strategy...depends on the clientele)....again pick something they would want. I have promoted alot of free stuyf, but mostly online (I would have to do a ton per hour to make going to a flea market and promoting since most of these pay like $1-2/lead).

Just think in terms of return on investment. If you go to an actual event and work say 5 hours...how much is your time worth? Only promote things that have a buy rate that will allow you to make the money you want. If you have others do the work for you, then just take that into account.....anything you get it FREE money basically after you pay your people since you didn't have to do the work yourself. If you go that route, just make sure to scale up to make the money worthwhile.

    Good luck!

Great thread thanks for the tips. I was wondering about doing some offline promotions in my city (Toronto,Ontario) with a population of 2.3 mill. and many people come from outside the city everyday to work or play as well. I know one spot that must get at least 100,000 people walking by a day. I dont know what program I would do, but I see people handing out flyers and/or samples all the time and it seems to not take them long to hand out 5 or so. My question now would be, how would I find a program that I could print flyers or postcards, or any type of advertisement that the vendor would not mind offline marketing? Is there any marketplaces like CB or CJ that allow you to print instead of just giving you a link?

      Thank you
