Our new Clients today

Well today we have just signed up 3 new clients and as lots of people ask where are the best markets I thought I would share this.

The fist client was a horse stud that sells pure bread horses.
The second was a mechanic
The third was a hairdressing promotions company which will give us about 300 mobile sites over the next 12 months.

Add to that this month a wedding shop, an sms company, and a home builder.

Really there is no good markets as they are all good. It is the owner that determines the best businesses to target.

You could also tie up with a chain of bakeries to provide Gingerbread Men for the pure bread horses.

    Sorry Quentin, couldn't resist.

    Congrats.

You could also sign up a gym to deal with that 'fist customer'...

But yes, this just goes to show you how diverse the range of markets are.

Some of the more common markets work well but when you can find those markets that other offline marketers are not even thinking about you can really make some traction.

    Think outside the box.

I always try and target businesses with a list rather than going for the one offs.

I have also found this is so true. If you have a relationship with them your opportunities are quite large.

It's definitely a good idea to diversify your client verticals. This way if you run into a situation where your client needs a favor or reference, then you have someone in your network that you can refer them to. This will reap great rewards for you in the future.

Quentin, where do you find these promotional companies or businesses that work with other businesses?

I'm having such a hard time getting my first client...I have been trying so much. Throw me a bone here, man.
