Google Becoming More Aggressive With Local Businesses in Texas

I was driving yesterday and was listening to the radio and heard that Google was doing a special event in Austin for local businesses trying to help them increase their presence online. With an offer of "free" websites (for 1 year), I am sure their event was successful -- they had over 500 businesses pre-register.
