Advice from Terry Dean

This weekend I was at an event with Terry Dean...a very famous internet marketer from the stone ages of 1996. I was in a workshop with him and sitting up front. I had asked some questions during the class, so during the break Terry came up to me and this is what he said:
He created niche businesses to cater to these specific types of business owners. Then when he went to talk to a chiropractor he said "Hi I help CHIROPRACTORS get more business using the internet". He said this made his conversions go through the roof.
The rest of the day was filled with other cool insights, but I figured I would pass this one along here on the forum.

"There is no such thing as a LOCAL BUSINESS OWNER"When I asked him what he meant he told me that several years ago he had tried to sell to LOCAL BUSINESS OWNERS and had failed miserably. He said the trick is to niche it down and sell to chiropractors, dentists, plumbers, attorneys, etc etc.
