For the Google Places pros

I have a client that ties in all his Google accounts to one email address including Google Places. I have a 3rd party provider that will be working on his places account. How can we separate the places account from his other accounts? If I give the 3rd party provider his Google login, they will be able to access his gmail and docs plus more. How do we fix that?

Why would you need a third party to access it? I mean anything you might do in a Google Places account shouldn't take more than half an hour. Just do a screen sharing session with the third party and make your edits and be done with it.

For instance if I need to add photos. I'll email them the photos, do a screen sharing with GotoAssist and have them login, I'll take over and they can watch me work.

    Make sense?

Makes sense. But sinse I'm outsourcing it, I would prefer to have them do it without trying to schedule the time for me to help.

I hear what you're saying. But when you work with Places accounts, you want to do as little as possible to rock the boat. So no there is no practical way to pull it apart from gmail, etc. So if they want to be assured that you're not going to poke around there isn't another way to do it.

Yeh. I didn't see anything like you can do with analytics or adwords where you can have multiple users that only have access to those particular services.

Thanks for your help. Not sure what I will do.

Why dont you trust the 3rd party provider, if this is what they do all day, then theyve got access to loads of Google accounts so its unlikely theyll be playing silly buggers with any of them, especially your clients .

I know this isnt answering your OP question, but it may alleviate some fears perhaps
