[METHOD] Increase your Cold Calling conversions ;)

Here's just one quick method to increase your conversions cold calling by doing nothing

1. Get a decent microphone
2. Install audacity
3. Write up an awesome sales pitch
4. Record yourself
5. Do it again about 3 more times
6. Decide which one is best
7. Edit The best version to make it more concise, such as remove "umms" and "aarrs"
8. Call up your prospective clients, and play the recording to them through a usb phone or just speakers into the mouth piece.
9. Once recording has finished, the ice has been broken, the hang ups have hung up, and you have your client in the palm of your hand!

    Using Audacity is a good idea for practicing your script. However, I'm not sure about playing a recording to your prospects. What happens if they try to interrupt or ask a question?

      Amazing coincidence.

      I was just about to start a thread on 'walk in sales' whereby one only needs to attach said dictaphone to an helium filled blow-up doll and float it through to the receptionist.

    I used hotkeys to pause the recording as soon as someone tries to say anything. Basically, it took away the scariness of the initial contact. I have many sales pitches I do in this way. It's always slightly down putting when you are rejected even for the thick skinned of us.

    I have even a better idea of how to leverage your efforts, why don't you keep recording yourself, and measure what is your best cold calling script, after
    that you write it on a piece of paper and after that you send it as a snail
    mail to your prospects, and then you are really talking about marketing!!!!

    Of course, snail mail has been the best way to convert for a good number of years, I also use alot of little tricks to get that extra conversion

    But this DOES work, just do it right.

    Hey Super,

    I'm about to try this... i just need some help on the playback.
    Would i hold my cell phone close to the computer speakers ? It seems to me that it will sound just like a recording....I'm a little lost, can you elaborate on that ?
