What exactly is it you are looking for someone to do?

Restructure a whole site? Just adjust title tags, h1 tags, etc? Rewrite all the content?

Onpage SEO covers a lot of different things.

On a side note, in my opinion, onpage SEO is greatly overrated in the offline world. For most customers, I can rank anything they want in their local market without touching a thing on their website. I've ranked sites for customers with maybe 250 words of actual text on their homepage and nothing else but navigation menus and pictures. No optimized title tags. No h1 tags at all. No optimized EMD's. And their keywords appear nowhere in the content anywhere.

You might want to evaluate and see if you really even need onpage SEO work to be done.

Now if you are in New York City and trying to rank for something like "best restaurants in new york city", the competition is probably a little different and you will need to make some adjustments to have any hope of ranking.

Having On-Page SEO is like having a well-designed kite, and all the off-page SEO is like giving it a nice breeze to make it fly.

If your kite has holes in it, it's going to take ALOT more wind to fly it the same distance.

Essentially since we are looking to take on clients SEO projects on a monthly basis, it'd make our lives, and the success much greater if the on-page is there.

Also, cutting down on expenses in the future because the off-page SEO may not have to be as elaborate.

On top of all this, from what I've seen, Google Places is highly dependant on the state of the main website, and so On-Page only goes to help.

Whats stopping you from doing the on-page SEO yourself?

It is much easier to build links then to mess with onpage stuff.

Most of the time I just offer my clients to do a new website.

Think about this: What electrician or plumber wants to go in and clean up a mess that another inexperienced electrician or plumber has made?

On page SEO it not hard to do, and I am sure their are many warriors that can do this for you, what type of on page SEO or you trying to do?

I would also suggest picking up a WSO that shows you how to do onpage SEO so you understand yourself. I think you will find it to be a little easier than you are thinking.

You should do it on your own to get an understanding of it. Furthermore, it's not that difficult & doesn't require that much effort at all.

This stuff is easy. There is no reason why you can't do this yourself. It is simple stuff. If you have any knowledge of html then you will be fine. Its not difficult to edit a few things and add some tags.

On-page optimization tips

• Make sure to have a different title/meta tags on each one of your pages.
• The titles, meta keywords and meta descriptions MUST reflect the content of the page they are on.
• Try to optimize your keywords in a "pyramid" where the pages closer to the index page are optimized for the most important keywords, while deep pages should be optimized for very specific keywords.
• Try to reduce the size of your images as much as possible.
• Create a sitemap.
• Create a robots.txt to avoid the search engines from crawling pages you don't want to be indexed.
• Use H1 tags for titles, and H2 tags for subtitles.
• Bulleted lists <ul> <li>...</li><li>...</li>...........</ul> are good for SEO.
• Try to use static links, without variables or Session IDs on them. If your website has been developed in a dynamic language (php, asp, etc), and you are experiencing indexation problems, you will probably need to hire an expert to fix your URLs and make them look "static" for search engines.
• DO NOT spam your text with keywords. Your text has to be natural, and include related terms to your main keyword on it. You should not try to put your keyword many times on your text. This will not help you anymore.
